I know this has been said before, but it needs to be said again. When signing up for an instance in GEM, only sign up if you intend to be there. If at a later date you realize that you can't make it, then either renounce or let the leader know. Nothing is more frustrating than sending out invites only to find that no one is online. Also be prepared to be online and at the location at the time specified. Too many people are off doing something and then the group has to wait for that person to travel to get there, wasting valuable time. Most of us have only a few hours each night to play and someone being irresponsible forces runs to end prior to the completion of the run. Also, don't sign up for more than one at a time with the assumption that "most are canceled anyway some I'm just hedging my bets." Event leaders and even Guild leaders watch for this kind of behavior and will eventually not invite people with this kind of behavior should it become chronic. If you can sense my frustration, good!
