In line for a PvP demo. Found out that cyborg is a playable race.

Ok - so there I was...
Holy crap got in line at 2:00 and got into the demo at 5:30 - still sunburned.
Demo was 8 vs 8 in the 'warfront' that has the big gun turrets we've seen in SWTOR videos.
You had about 3 mins to load into the front where the toons gather (per side) in a room.
At go time you r-click the speeder bike and you speed off to the front (no load screen) but is is weird that the camera doesn't lock to the front facing position as it does when you are running around - it stays pointed one direction (call it West) though you can move the camera around.

Played an Imperial Agent - nothing outstanding about the look of the characters but we were all lvl 12ish.
Was carrying a 'sniper' rifle but I didn't have any special range to it (that I could see).
I had four different fireing abilities each with more cooldown and more power.
Fifth was a grenade that hits what you have targeted. Used this the most had like a 10 or 15 sec cooldown.
Then you have your shield generator which doesn't seem real practical in PvP (if your at range you're rarely targeted & if you're not at range its hardly useful) - there may be a DPS bonus but didn't read it close enough.

Gotta run - i'll post more later.
:yoda:

I'm back.

I had 2 heals one for myself and one for group - I used it just to try it out.
Another was some kind of dart - didn't see it do much.
Jedi could plow me down pretty quickly. Guess those heals would've worked nicely.
There was so much to see; reading and getting used to the abilities and trying to be useful in PvP instead of pulling up the character sheet and whatnot.
This was a capture and hold map (3 three capture points I think). Couldn't tell you how long the match was (although i'm sure there was a timer) - it flew by but i'd say about 15mins.
Everything said... it was PvP and nothing really different.

Inside the Con there was also a game play demo but I didn't make it to that - did play Star Wars Kinect and GW2 though and a friend at Lucas said that they'd probably get keys soon and I know my brother won't play either so I may be able to give one up if anyone's interested.
