Post subject:  Moniker + Freighter = fun
I just got the skills tonight and after an exhausting 16 jump return (at 72.3M/S) I have returned to Aice with my brand new Obilisk Freighter.

I hope to make hauls for TCO-E as well as pick up the odd haul job on the Market. One of the awesome perks I have recently found is that I can just repackage my Itty V, toss it and all of its components into the Obilisk and jump to any mining location I wish.

With that I have Moge mine and Moniker and her Itty V haul to an in system location and when they are done just do a single run back to Aice! With 800,000m3 cargo hold it's perfect.

I also recently bought every possible bookmark for 4 entire regions so travel is now very fast.

So if you have any hauling needs just ask!

ok not so much fun now

I bought the freighter and about 45min later the server crashed. I just relogged in and my Freighter and my ISK are gone!

I filed a petition but who knows. If I get screwed out of a billion ISK I am so very done with this game.

yowch! I'm sure they'll reimburse it, no worries. Also check your assets. The game was doing a lot of very weird things last night...

yeah I checked my assets and relogged several times. when I first logged in after the crash I was in Aice II but was not in any ship. I should have relogged there but I stupidly got into another ship.

I have a ticket in. We will see. My only fear is there my ticket will get swalloed up with the soon to be huge number of tickets becuase of Dragon hitting today. It may be a while before I get this resolved and my desire to play before it is resolved is zero.

As it is I am swamped at work so I can only play in the evenings as it is.

just loggeg in and it looks like my Freighter has been returned. The ticket was unread so I assume some backlog was fixed that righted the issue.

Now to find some juicy trade routes!

well, freighter life just got easier with the Revelations patch. Now everyone has the option of jumping within 0km from all jumpports and stations. I found my freighter excellent for hauling large amounts of ore but I didnt really find it useful for the trade routes.

filling a freighter is damn near impossible and the travel is very slow. Becuase of this I onlyused a freighter in conjunction with my pretty advaned trading skills. I would remote buy and sell a lot of stuff and use the freighter to transport. Becuase I didnt have instas to stations this often made it very slow. The freighter can take up to 45sec or more to align and get into warp and several minutes to travel the 15km to dock or jump.

However, with revelations I think freighter life may be easier. Adv Spaceship command is your friend as that allows a bonus to ship agility which allows for faster alignment. get that to IV I am not sure if V is worth it due to the time needed to train it.

when I moved from Everyshore to Torrinos for my move to 0.0 my freighter as a life saver moving all my gear and ships for 2 accounts in one move.
