Make two alts, then move them to stations in different regions.

Want to check prices on things for trade routes? Viola! Log in with an alt and do it yourself!

It's genius! (So you know it wasn't my idea. lol)

Easy enough too.

I was thinking of making a trader/hauler alt. I just don't know if it's worth the time commitment away from my main. With duplicate skills?

But it would make solo mining probably that much easy?

Not really. It's easier just to put all the skills on your main and use him to do everything.

been doing this for a while now. Works like a charm. Mostly I keep my alts just one sector away as I rarely feel the want/need to do a long haul accross several sectors.

Remember, you can only train 1 character at a time. So just using an alt is prefered over training up a usable character.

Wouldn't it be best to send them ISK as well...so they can buy the goods andtake them off the market....then you can just get your ship in there, and move the goods for sale.

If you buy out all the items, then there won't be anyone to compete with you...worst case, you drive the price of buy up and it's no longer worthwhile for your competition to run the route?
