My dark elf character, Nightwolfe, dinged Predator last night. It's kinda fun sneaking up on orcs, stabbing them in the back, and knocking them down on their knees for the killing blow. I'm also getting to enjoy the two-handed fighting style. It looks really cool.

I took him out for my first foray into The Commonlands, and I tell ya... wow. It's brutal out there. At lvl 10, everything, and I mean everything conned red to me. I can't tell you how many people I saw running for their lives, with a line of nasty-looking Orcs trailing behind them. Needless to say, I didn't stick around. I went back to killing in the Ruins. Much safer for opening a can of whoopass while soloing.

Now I just have to get him close to lvl 17 so I can do the betrayal quest. I'm going to make him a Ranger, and go hug trees and slaughter gnolls in Antonica... lots and lots of gnolls. And then more gnolls. And after all of that gnoll hunting, I'm going to change gears and start hunting gnolls all over again. At least 500 of them, which I hear is how many you have to kill for the betrayal quest. I'm definitely going to be sick of gnolls after that....

I'm kind of jealous at those who have done or will do the betrayal quest...sounds challenging. I've really liked my swashbuckler...and his dual wielding, sneaking self. Lots of fun...

its a nasty quest, yes 500 gnolls,5 named as well. You get to meet Lucan, but he kills you, and you lose that shard for good. if you screw up any questions your asked, u have to go back near the beginning and pay 1gp to start again.

but its not that bad, it took me a weekend to do. answer like you are a good person who wants to do good. there are some guides on the official forums you might want to look over.

I got Nightwolfe up to lvl 13 last night, so I'm getting closer. Yeah, I really need to look around for that guide, because I don't have 1gp to spend.
