I love Penny Arcade comics. That one is so true, and I seem to always have a firewall blocking my update.

If you have control of your firewall/router, forward ports 6112, 3724 and 6881-6999 to the IP DLing the patch. If you don't have control of the firewall/router, click on the Having trouble with the downloader? link and scroll to the bottom of the support window. You'll find a link for a direct download. |

ANd everytime I click on that stoopid link I get a page not freakin found error or something else as annoying so I just go to FilePlanet and get the DL in 3 seconds and install it. |

and yet you keep trying  .
i allowed the program access to the necessary ports (like Rocklar above) and it moves along at a nice clip. |
