From the reports I am seeing, if you do not wish to participate in Battlegrounds 8 hours a day with the rest of the PvP clowns... you will not be getting past the first 4 ranks anytime soon, hehe.... There are people pulling down 5 figure CP totals per day in there now.... Just a word of warning.. I am all about Bring the Pain nights... but the honor system just got cranked up about 17 notches with BG honor points... |

I tried out the Warsong BG last night for one session, and while we got pwned 3-1 it was a lot of fun. I'll be trying it out a few more times, and not just for Honor points. |

I think this is the attitude to have. Win or Lose, Let's have alot of fun. I think you'll see that this outweighs alot of the rewards Blizzard has put into place. We gotta start getting together on this. |

Yeah I notice that too Jegs. I went into AV opening night and I thought I was doing alright with my 70 odd kills (including 11 kill shots). Then I go pull up the scorecard and find out some l33t dood had 1102 kills! ![]() I have pretty much giving up on the rank system as it stands right now as there is virtually no way to compete against all of these unemployed/ultra-competitive/(insert excuse here) players out there. I am just going to play the BGs for the sheer fun involved, and there's a lot of fun to be had with them. I would love to get a small Avian group together tonight and try to get into AV together and run a bunch of those side quests into the trogg mines etc. to help our side out by boosting NPC armor, skills, etc. I didn't get into that side of things the other night. I'll be home 5MST, able to play 6MST ish. Consider this post the official rally cry ![]() |

Nix my previous post about trying to get an Avian group into AV or WG. The wait times for any sort of friend group is insane right now and not really worth it until they fix the queue system imo. |

That is what I am hearing too. That is very bad considering that, for me, battlegrounds are about doing stuff with your friends. |

Exactly Cy. I was super hyped about Avian groups pwning others in these but it ain't gonna be anytime soon. Tons of posts with people complaining about this so it should be "relatively" safe to think that a change to the queue system will be in the works soon enough. Personally I think the ability to create ones own instances/games like batte.net would be the way to go so that groups can stay together and it makes it easy to see how many players are still needed to fill out games already set up and just waiting for balance to come. |

Yeh the ranking system is going to be royally messed up. Though I still think we should try to get an All Avian Gulch Battleground group going. CTF sounds more fun than regular TM fights. |

Well I did the CTF BG 4 times over the weekend, and while we didn't win any of those times, it was a lot of fun. Alliance does seem to be incapable of any real strategy though. To many rushers and not enough thinkers. Once we were up 2-0 in the best of 5 and still lost 2-3. We'll see how much if any rank this gets me later today when I log in. BTW, great skills in CTF are: Mass Fear, Frost Nova, and the Druid abilities to Heal on the fly and run faster than most (when shifted) I got a lot of killing blows as a level 50 Rogue in the 41-50 BG, and I need to try using Sap and Blind better. Good luck all. |
