Which characters do you plan to create and play right away? Myself I'll be creating a Night Elf Hunter, Dwarf Priest, Gnome Warlock, Human Paladin, Night Elf Rogue, Troll Shaman, Orc Warrior, Undead Mage, and Tauren Druid. I'll be focusing my efforts on the Hunter and Priest to begin with. All my characters will have names beginning with Z so it'll be easy for you to know me. ![]() |

Next semester, I'm starting out with - Advanced Encryption techniques in Java - XQuery and XPointer designs for XML databases in VB.NET and taking a pre-requisite that I skipped: - Intro to programming ![]() But, if you're talking about WoW, then I'm thinking: Gnomish Warlock concentrating on Engineering Of course, I'd like any pointers you guys can recommend in good combos/starting plans. |

Human ||||| Gnome ||||| Dwarf | Warrior || Paladin || Priest | Rogue | Hunter ||| Warlock |||| Mage ||| Druid | |

We need more healers! I'm going to have a paladin alt, so I can help, but if anyone wants to take up the scepter of a priest, there is never a time where you won't be needed and loved. ![]() Hmm... maybe that's a way I can get rid of this damn 'sock puppet' label. |

Way too torn to pick one now after reading up on the game. Human Warlock (F) (tailoring/enchanting), NE Hunter or Druid (F) (skinning/leatherworking), and Dwarf Rogue (M) (mining/engineering) all sound so fun. Question - once we pick a class (i.e hunter/mage), can we later switch if we decide its not for us without having to create a new character (and lose our superbly created name)? |

No switching, but the limit is 50 total characters / 10 per server and leveling is fairly easy for the first 10-12 levels, so see how it goes then just start another. I've heard the name becomes available fairly quickly once you turn it in. And see my thread on starting up all the characters you think you might be playing because of the rested bonus. |
