    Discription
    As you might know, I collect lore. Old lore. Powerful lore. Lore that opens doorways, and lore that can awaken Those Who Sleep.

    There are rumors of an old piece of lore, the Lorgalis Manuscript, at the bottom of Blackfathom Deeps in Ashenvale. That place is the old dwelling of long-dead elves. Elves who held great knowledge before their city fell to ruin.

    Search Blackfathom Deeps for the manuscript. Do this, and I will not forget it. Not even after ... the end days.

So do any of you know about the Blackfathom Deeps, or the region of Ashenvale?

Do you have any idea what it would take to accomplish this mission?

"end days"? What is that... something to do with the end of beta? :) Or some kind lore speak. Never heard of the place, can check on it from a friend who eat/sleeps WoW though... he's been kind of moody lately because of not eating real food and no sleep because of Wow.

Worlock NPCs often talk of death, life beyond this world, and things of that nature. I think he is just saying that even after his death he will still owe me. Something like he would be so grateful if did this quest for him, and even in death I could summon him to return the favor.

The only Ashenvale I know of is on the horde continent, Kalimdor. It's a Night Elf area.

http://www.worldofwar.net/cartography/ is your friend. You should be able to find Ashenvale Forest on this map. They list level ranges of the areas, so you'll get an idea if you can handle the quests or not. Sometimes you get a quest that's elite, or something that's way to high for you to do. In those cases, you should do the quests with a full group of 5 people, or just wait until you level higher.

Yup I went there with my lvl30 Warlock, place is full of 22-25 elite mobs. It's located in Ashenvale (Ashenvale is listed in the worldmap regions) and it's on Zoram Strand, at the north of the little beach at the east. I just hope they moved the quest when they moved Blackfathom Deeps, which was in northern Darkshore prepatch.

Well I asked my friend and he said that yes it is in the Nightself Area near Darkshore, but he thought it was to the north of there. The area is full of tough mobs, ghostly nightelves about lvl 20-25.
