It is any surprise I started this one :P

Sorry for all the SWG references but that's the 1st MMORPG I've ever played.

1 - Can I minimize WoW likw SWG so I can surf the net while playing?

2 - Is there a way to see all my chat tabs like in SWG?

3 - Do we have a "Horde" character server?

4 - What class do you have to be to (a)gather herbs, (b)be able to skin animals, and (c) be able to mine stuff? Or can anyone learn these if they find the right trainer?

5 - How expensive is it to "travel" and where does one accomplish this?

Thats all for now...

More to come later I'm sure

I'll see what I can do with these:
1 - Can I minimize WoW likw SWG so I can surf the net while playing?
I think there's a "windowed-mode" option you can enable from within the game. I'd confirm this but the beta servers are down for maintenance.
In any case, you can use your Windows key - I do that regularly to access my TeamSpeak console.

2 - Is there a way to see all my chat tabs like in SWG?
Some of the custom UIs that have been developed (i.e. CosmosUI) alter they way your chat window(s) appear. Aside from them, all chat shows up in the same window. You can, however, modify what is displayed and what is not.

3 - Do we have a "Horde" character server?
Nothing official yet.

4 - What class do you have to be to (a)gather herbs, (b)be able to skin animals, and (c) be able to mine stuff? Or can anyone learn these if they find the right trainer?
The activities you mention have more to do with tradeskills that classes. You need to learn the herbalism tradeskill to gather herbs, Skinning to learn how to skin and Mining to be able to pull ore etc from the earth.
Everyone can learn two tradeskills and all three of the secondary skills (cooking, first aid and fishing).

5 - How expensive is it to "travel" and where does one accomplish this?
The cost of the trip by gryphon (the only fee-based mode of transportation I have experience with) varies based on the difficulty level of the area you're traveling to. Travel to a low-end area is cheaper than traveling to a high-level mob area.

See ya in-game!

1) with Cosmos I can run in windowed mode, not sure if there is a way to turn it on within the game, I assume there is I just havent found it yet.

2) not sure, havent tried to yet.

3) no not yet that I am aware of.

4) class doesnt matter just find a trainer however you cant do all three, only 2 professions are allowed not counting cooking, fishing and first aid.

5) Travel cost varies wherever you go. In Ironforge you can take a "tram" for free to Stormwind, and the same going the other direction. Griffin flights are offered at various places however you have to make it there and activate the path before it is available. Cost varies, like from ironforge to stormwind it is 50 copper but from ironforge to Loch Mordon <sp?> it is a little over a silver to travel.
