General Character Information

    What games do you currently enjoy playing the most?

World of Warcraft and Star Wars Galaxies
    What style of gameplay do generally prefer? PvP, PvE, Crafting, etc...?
Mostly PvE, but I occasionally indulge in PvP and sometimes crafting
    What game genres do you find most enjoyable?
RPG, FPS, and the occasional Strategy game
    What unreleased games are you currently following the progress of?
Star Wars: Empire at War
    What unreleased games do you plan on playing in the future?
Star Wars: Empire at War
    In the games that you currently play, what names do your characters go by?
Lowbacca-Al'Nab (Lowie), Jemek, Miyea Healfdene


Player Associations

    Have you previously been a part of any other Player Associations for any specific games or for gaming in general? Which ones were they, and why did you leave?
I am co-founder of the guild Al'Nab (Alliance of Naboo) on the Chilastra galaxy of Star Wars Galaxies, and am currently still a member.
    With the exception of the ones you have joined (if any) what other Player Associations did you consider?

Avian

    Have you read and do you understand the text of the official Avian Charter?
I have and I do
    Is there anything you would change or amend to the Charter?

No
    Are you aware that a lot of Avian’s organization is conducted on the forum as opposed to in games themselves? How often do you see yourself regularly checking the forums if you are accepted into Avian
I am, at least once a day most likely
    Please take a moment to tell us how you found Avian.

    Please explain why you have chosen Avian and why Avian should choose you. What do you expect to get from your membership in Avian and what do you expect to offer?

I chose Avian because most of my friends are currently members, and the other members I have met seem like great people. As to why Avian should chose me, I don't really know for sure. I hope to make some great friends and have fun in the process.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcome. Last night was quite fun, despite the lag, I still have a few hundred snowballs to get rid of. :)

I haven't actually left SWG yet, I'm a pretty hardcore Star Wars fan, and while the game is definitely not what it was in the begnning, it is still Star Wars in some ways, as such I'm probablly going to stick with it till the game dies, whther that's sooner or later.

Yes, I'm still a part of Al'Nab, I'm not entirely sure where it stands though, most of the leadership has left the game and I haven't been in contact with any of the other members for some time.

I was thinkin' the same thing. I'm sure I remember you from SWG. And that's sayin something, considering I've done everything including professional help to forget SWG. :lol:

It would appear that a large majority of the BoD has taken a long holiday break.

The app is not forgotten per se... but suffering from lack of attendance...

Getting it sorted out... Lowie should be in guild in game already, so this is a mere formality, but we are working on solving the issue.

It's been great, everyone from Avian has been very helpful and friendly. Should be 40 pretty soon thanks to the help, and I'm moving up through Engineering and Enchanting very quickly if anyone needs anything.

I remember a Lowbaca and Jemek...Jemek rings a bell as to some sort of merchant/crafter toon, am i right?

I too stuck around SWG thru all the hard times just because it was STAR WARS hehe....but the NGE was just to horrible to play, Star Wars or not I finally walked away from it all after so long lol

I actually didn't get to use Jemek until I unlocked Jedi, but never really used him too much, you might be thinking of someone else. Still thinking about SWG, it's just hard for me to quit after playing over 2 years plus my time in beta, but I'm starting to think I should, I haven't actually played it much at all since I got back into WoW.

hmm..i had a multi vendor mall in Falcon Hold and got dozens of dozens of sales emails on my merch toon everyday. Ive seen tons of character names over the months like this and maybe this was where I recognize Jemek, but maybe not hehe I too found it hard to walk away after so much time and work put in, but Im having alot of fun playing WoW and my other new games. Besides after cancelling my swg accounts, I'm saving money with just one WoW account to pay for now hehe
