<Sorry I didn't post right away, I was due at another RL social event as soon as I left>
Just a quick thank you to everyone who came out to the opening of the Avian Nest Casino! I had a good time, though things were a little hectic, but over all it was still enjoyable. Sorry that some of you had to wait to get in on the games or felt things were a bit unorganized. They more or less were, we had to keep falling back from plan A to B to C…. but I think we pulled it off! Next time we'll try to do better and thank you for your patience as we continue to grow.
The RP wasn't as strong as it could have been BUT I REALLY enjoyed seeing some of you getting into character. I was to busy running around to get to do a lot of it my self but again next time we'll try and have things run smoother. It really was refreshing to see, and I hope the atmosphere in the casino will have more if it next time.
Thank you Avian Band members and entertainers for rocking the house! It was great listening to you all as I ran around. We had some lovely ladies up there too, sadly I didn't have time to sit down and watch the show. If you missed our opening tonight, then maybe we can sit together and take in the sight for the first time when we open again. I hope you guys can keep coming, we'll let you all know when we'll be open again.
Big thank you to our dealers, Fifel and Jaric. Did a good job dealing didn't they? You guys were willing to trust me, even when you didn't know quite what you were doing (the duels were brutal!), and I thank you for it. They had to take an extra workload but they handled the pressure well. Couldn't ask for better dice men.
Also I'd like to thank big-Tosraugm-man! Wow you did a wonderful job doing what was needed around the Casino in-character. That was just great to see, was a bit surprising but that was fun working with you. I don't think we could have pulled it off without your quick work, so thank you again. Next time, if this guy ask you to do something… you better do it or he might throw you out on your rump.
Ok so things to come?
-More games! We had more but we decided to just show you the easiest ones. (another big shout out to Big Yak with his help on these)
-Different odds for each game
-Better Dueling! Next time, I think we'll host a dueling tournament instead of pets for some nice prizes… how's that sound?
-More info on how the vendor, games, chips, dealers work.
-Some surprises! Shhhhh.
All in all, though a bit rocky, I think it was a good start. I hope to see more of you there next time, and remember to bring your credits for wagers!
P.S. Who didn't cash their chips? That is kinda funny… I mean, who wants to pay 525-2625 for lap darts and traps?
