I'm in a stick here and want to see if anyone can help out. There are two files that someone encoded into mpeg4 and the Mac I'm working on cannot open them - Quicktime 7 sucks! If anyone can open these on a PC please convert them avi wmv or mov files for me. Please try and maintain the quality and size. http://wiki.digitalbazaar.com//download ... -final.mp4 http://wiki.digitalbazaar.com/download/ ... -final.mp4 these are under the creative commons so altering and editing is allowed. Once converted please PM me and we can figure out how to transfer/upload them. Thanks |

This is one of the issues I have with the hardcore FOSS people. They use the pseudo -codecs that 'play' fine, but the portability of that codec sucks. I'm heading into work. If I cannot transcode it there then nothing on gods green earth will be able to. Thanks for your help everyone. |

Well... I can't read them... yet. Still trying to find the right codec plus the tweaking without ruining my other tweaks. But I'm glad that Flyoc taking care of it... |

sweet, thanks! It's funny. I have thousands of dollars of video gear at my disposal and I cannot even open and convert what should be a very standard codec. ![]() |
