We are at -30C but the windchill its -46C. Good times indeed. Only in Alberta would this not totally bring a city to a halt. Looks like Ravage has a nice -49C to look forward to today as well.

Scourge boys wanna come see what a real snow storm is? :D

We had to do the same thing here Daish. Cept we car pooled so only had to shovel half the driveway. Not gonna be a fun night doing the rest tonight.

Oh and FYI - on the drive to work it was hilarious to see BMWs and Lexuses stuck in snow banks.

Let me see. about 5 to 10 meters per second of wind and -12 to 15 Celcius here in Nuuk.

Coast city so we got the oceans heat with us, that is until mid-feburary early march. Then we'll drop to -25C -30C if we get a cold winter...

It'll be cold here today too. About -20F w/ the wind chill. Yesterday it was about 40. Go figure.

Oh and we do get a little snow here from time to time but it's been a few years since the last really big one.

I fondly remember the 31 inches we had on Halloween a while back.

We've been reduced to "how's the weather"?

Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse?

Several weeks ago it was very nice here in Djibouti, 70's and 80's. But the last three days have been getting noticeably hotter and hotter. It was 96F just after lunch. The scary thing is that this is still winter.

I am very excited to see what summer is like… but I know after a few days of it I’m going to hate this place.

Blame Angelus. Besides I don't recall us talking about weather before on these forums. There is also the fact that we can talk about anything on the General Forum.

Personally I'd prefer to talk about, how to import a certain dark beer from Eire, without the Homerule of Greenland confiscating it.

You could always find the guy that drove a truckload of it right out the front gate and into downtown Dublin traffic a couple months ago, never to be seen again. Obo did they ever find that guy? More importantly, did they ever find the brew?

As for the weather here, it was rainy here this morning and it's been about 50F today.

We've been relatively warm here in the Denver area. Got up to 36 yesterday and only dropped to about 16 last night. But we did get around 3 inches of snow, so it still made the drive to work annoying.

Hurricanes don't count then? :P

Well, here, if it's not raining, it's windy and cold. If it's not cold, it windy and raining. Regardless, it's always windy!

Currently, there's a storm in the Irish Sea. The coastguard say it's the worst they've seen for a decade. There's a ferry trapped on a sandbank somewhere near Blackpool (You know, the place with the tower that isn't called Eifel!). I'm not sure if it's as bad as the storm that destroyed the Fastnet fleet or the hurricane of '87.

Well I haven't seen a hurricane before in RL. In case I do I don't wanna talk about it, but rather run from it...

Got a business trip to Puerto Rico next week. Nice to leave the piles of snow for some piles of sand. I'm sure I won't get to see much other than the inside of offices though.

To a freezing place called TAB. (I hope. Currently applying for an internship as a Computer Administrator)
