I watched the first two episodes. The first one was weak, the second one was better. Jen wants to give it two more episodes, but I think I might be over it. Dushku has a smokin' hot bod, but sometimes her face looks... old.

I also think she overacts almost every scene.

I agree with Mads. First episode was poor. Second was decent. Still a very wierd show all in all. Can't put my finger on exactly what but her overacting could be part of it.

Neat concept for a show though. Hope it gets better cause I am a big Joss supporter.

I agree. I watched both episodes and there is just something about them that does not click. Her overacting of the 'blank slate' doll is probably a good bit of it.

Missed the first 2 episodes, but just saw the 3rd one the other night. You guys put it on the money. Dushku is hot, but not as hot as she was in Buffy. (Go ahead, laugh. I watched Buffy. For Eliza.)

Joss Whedon is a god among insects in the creativity department, but he can't deliver (so far) in at least one other department and his projects ultimately fail.

With Firefly, it was marketing. Nobody had even HEARD of Firefly until Serenity was coming out, and then it was too late by the time people saw it and saw it for what it was... a frickin badass show!

With Dollhouse I think they have done well with the marketing, but missed the mark in the casting department. That's just my opinion.
