Dumin was lower than a sock. He was the hole in the heel of it.

Hey, if the sock puppet can read and write, I wouldn't think smelling would be much of a stretch.

No, but the question was asked. It's best for people to know so long as it's left at that.

Actually, I knew all of that...I was more interested to know what happened to him post Avian. I know he went to ION or something like that and then I heard he got booted from there?...not sure about the rest...

If one doesn't learn from history then one will be forever doomed to repeat history.

The problem with humanity is that so often "passing history" ends up being like passing gas. It's obnoxious and really, really smelly.

Plus you feel really good once you pass them both

Ahhh Dumin... one of the main reasons i quit Avian in the first place.

Well, as i understand the story.... He was a leader of the ION guild, and with him went Raezer, a very close friend of mine. From what i've gathered he used the resources and deeds he *cough* stole *cough from avian, and made the new PA, no idea where... never really cared to know. blah blah blah, whatever... anyway life went on, he put Raezer in charge of Resources, and basically continued being his asshole self for a while, using everyone and treating them like shit, till Rae finally realized what everyone else knew about him, and she cleaned out his stockpile of resources, and used them to help crafters actually make stuff.

Soon thereafter, Dumin quit swg, and was never heard from again. The end.

So you see children, sometimes there are happy endings in (almost) Real Life :)

That made me smile contentedly. Of course, it would have been better if he had caught a self-inflicted STD and had to quit playing because of it... but it'll do.

I know it has a bad aftertaste, but I just love the story of Dumin. It has all the characteristics of a villain. Even his name seems appropriate to me(Dumin - Doomin)

I always think "Dumin" = "Dumb".

But you're right, that definately added some high-strung drama to an already tense situation, and made for a moment that I'll always remember.
