Some choice! I read this a few weeks ago. He seems to answer most objections, only problem is you still need to trust him to make it all work. |

The world is running out of oil, so its time to either produce fusion for more than .5 of a second(or whatever the number is), use water, find some other method, or how about lets just goto another planet? hehe |

didn't the u.s. like god i don't know, 5 or more years ago mention that we only had so many years worth of oil left and that the government was stocking up for when that happens (and to which gas prices jacked up a shitload because of this announcement.) Nothing new really. We need to go beyond petrol anyways. Whether or not big companies want to or not. That is if we want a planet still worth living on. I hear Mars is nice this time of year

I can GUARANTEE you the big oil companies already know what the next big energy provider is gonna be, and they already own the rights to it. Its just easier and cheaper for them to pump oil till it runs dry, then about 1 year before that happens.... TA DA!!!!!!!!! We "discovered" a new energy source, and, guess what, WE (oil compaines) own it !!!!! Just watch...... |

You are very, very Jaded. But, I agree with everything you said  . We can easily make cars that have the same or 95% of the same capacities with more than double the gas mileage. There's so much progress that is killed or stopped in the name of the almighty dollar (or whatever your currency is).
Unfortunately, it will happen about the same time as world peace. |

That may be so. I havent done any extensive reading about this topic, but he sure does mention alot of people that have done some research on this and its based on that he draws the conclusion. *shrugs* Who knows what the future brings. The important fact is that we are aware of the problem and develops new methods of supplying power. |

but theyve been "aware" of the problem for the last 50 years or better. it wont change until its absolutely has to, whatever reason may bring that about. |
